Bahamas Destination Wedding, The Bahamas premier wedding consultants and planners have expended its beach wedding offerings announcing its newest venue for Nassau beach weddings – Nuptial Beach located on picturesque Cable Beach, the Bahamian Riviera.

In making the announcement, Bahamas Destination Wedding’s Resident Wedding Planner and officiant Glenn Ferguson said, “We are delighted to be able to add Nuptial Beach as our newest venue for Nassau Beach weddings given the results of Expedia’s 2014 American Altar Report which showed an overwhelming 43 percent of American Destination wedding Brides desiring to have their wedding on the beach. It is the ideal location for beach wedding, ”

Asked why Nuptial Beach, Ferguson said that the Expedia Report also showed that Forty-two percent of married Americans, if given the chance for an “I Do-Over,” would choose a destination wedding the second time around. And again referencing to that same report said “Destination brides prefer the beach.”

While Nassau and Paradise Island are home to some of the finest beaches in the world, Ferguson goes on to say that because most are occupied by the major touristic resorts, “they are usually really crowded and not ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. Nuptial Beach provides a great alternative right on Cable Beach and within twenty minutes of any of the resort including those at Baha Mar and Atlantis on Paradise Island, making it ideal for a beach wedding in Nassau.”

About Nuptial Beach

Nuptial Beach is a white powdery sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters located at the western end of Cable Beach on the island of New Providence, the home of the world famous capital city of the Bahamas – Nassau.

The company says it will spend $300 million at its plant in Orion Township, Michigan, to manufacture a Chevrolet vehicle based on the battery-powered Bolt. Facebook left millions of passwords readable by employees

Mar 23, 2019

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook left hundreds of millions of user passwords readable by its employees for years, the company acknowledged Thursday after a security researcher exposed the lapse . By storing passwords in readable plain text, Facebook violated fundamental computer-security practices. Those call for organizations and websites to save passwords in a scrambled form that makes it almost impossible to recover the original text. "There is no valid reason why anyone in an organization, especially the size of Facebook, needs to have access to users' passwords in plain text," said cybersecurity expert Andrei Barysevich of Recorded Future. Facebook said there...

Cummings concerned about Jared, Ivanka private emails, texts

Mar 23, 2019

WASHINGTON — Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter and a powerful White House aide, did not preserve all of her official emails as required by federal law, and her husband, Jared Kushner, used a messaging application to conduct U.S. business outside government channels, the chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee said on Thursday. Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said in a letter to the White House that the use of private email accounts and the messaging application WhatsApp by senior administration officials raises "security and federal records concerns." Cummings said that Trump's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, told the committee that Trump...

First artificial intelligence Google Doodle features Bach

Mar 23, 2019

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Google is celebrating composer Johann Sebastian Bach with its first artificial intelligence-powered Doodle. Thursday's animated Google Doodle shows the composer playing an organ in celebration of his March 21, 1685, birthday under the old Julian calendar. It encourages users to compose their own two-measure melody. Google says the Doodle uses machine learning to "harmonize the custom melody into Bach's signature music style." Bach's chorales were known for having four voices carrying their own melodic line. To develop the AI Doodle, Google teams created a machine-learning model that was trained on 306 of Bach's chorale harmonizations. Another...

Science Says: Tiny 'water bears' can teach us about survival

Mar 23, 2019

WASHINGTON — Earth's ultimate survivors can weather extreme heat, cold, radiation and even the vacuum of space. Now the U.S. military hopes these tiny critters called tardigrades can teach us about true toughness. These animals are pipsqueaks, only about the size of a period. Under a microscope they look like some combination of chubby bear and single-eyed alien. And they are the closest life gets to indestructible. No water? No worries. Tardigrades survive. Antarctic cold, 300-degree heat (150 degrees Celsius), a lack of oxygen, even punishing radiation doesn't stop these animals. They are so resilient in the face of so...
