Bolton Company Wins Qatar World Cup Stadium Contract

A1S Group has secured a contract with the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar which will be hosting the 2022 Football World Cup.

A1S Group has recently secured a major contract to install stadium fire curtains and fire shutters in the Al Bayt 2022 Football World Cup Stadium in Qatar. This is following on the success of the FlameShield Fire Curtains and Flameshield Fire Shutters that were recently installed in the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which proceeded ahead of schedule, Wembley Stadium, Twickenham, Manchester’s Etihad and the London Olympic Stadium. Their next contract will be to offer the fire and industrial shutter package to the Al Bayt in Qatar which will host the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

A1S Group will be working alongside long-standing Middle Eastern partners Al Thuraya to provide 52 Flameshield Industrial Fire Shutters and 6 Industrial Roller Shutters. Mark Dougill, Export Manager at A1S Group, said “It was our ability to manufacture fully compliant and accredited shutters up to 9.2 metres wide coupled with our project experience with Al Thuraya on the Doha Metro where we manufactured in excess of 100 insulated roller shutters that secured the package. Al Thuraya and the Qatari Aspire organisation were impressed with our heritage of manufacturing and installing in some of the world’s most iconic stadiums.”
